Lizette Caballero graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BS in Medical Technology from the University of Puerto Rico and brings over 24 years of experience in cellular therapy. She has led Cellular Therapy and Blood and Marrow Transplant laboratories at Florida Hospital and UCSF, overseeing quality control, process development, staff training, and regulatory compliance. Since 2020, she has served as Associate Director and Clinical Cell Therapy Liaison at Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine, supporting global CAR T clinical trials. An active ISCT member for 18+ years, she has held multiple leadership roles, mentored emerging professionals, and completed over 20 FACT inspections.
